A timely poem, need of the time, it's time to teach our children, it may be anything but it should not be a war not even a proxy war. It's time to erase the names of conquerors and imperialists from the list of heroes. It's time to forget the misdeeds of the past, it's time to realise if there is a war it may be the last. The historians will have to dig the earth and analyse the remains to write the history of the last war.

You have rightly put across the case against all wars in proper perspective. I agree with your observation that 'if there is a war it may be the last'. Thanks for sharing your views, Sir.

I went through the poem both in Hindi and English languages. It is your good step to have juxtaposition. The translation you have made here is so brilliant. The topic ' woman and war' has much impact and given impression on human society. This is a gorgeous poem. I thank you both.

Rajnish ji, this is an extra-ordinary poem. I need to read it once again. I love the angle in which a woman perceives war and her role as a peace maker. Meanwhile, here's full score for the poem.

Thanks for your kind visit and observation in the context of war and how it impacts the perception of women in view of the enormous devastation it brings about.
