A woman
Yes a woman.
Creation’s croon
Nay, the God’s boon
Enigma or mystery
Enchanting history
Her birth precedes
the birth of dawn,
A dawn of glory
The glory of the morn
In the sky forlorn.
she’s like lucent dew from sky
Or like fairies’ intoxicating sighs,
she’s manna from the heaven
or treasures of seas seven
A song of offering
At the altar of gods.
She’s graceful, .
She’s sweet,
and void of pride.
Might be her faults
lie beneath her vaults,
For this, its not her fault,
If to her share,
some errors she doth make,
then will lay bare
her amendments to rake
For her parents
a doting daughter,
For her husband
a loving wife,
Not a slave
before that lord,
but a friend,
who wont walk
on a lonesome road,
nor walk
in for fear and dread.
But having once walked,
will always hold head high,
Never will she fail
unless trampled on her tail.
Woman
Yes a woman,
Shes that nymph
where anxious cares
her pensive thoughts oppressed.
Shes a lover where
secret passions hide in her breast.
Shes a mother, a daughter
a scornful virgin,
whose charms if missed,
where no ardent lover
is robbed of his bliss.
No matter how small,
these qualities
shes endowed with,
How great
How great
A wonder she is
Isn’t she?

Literary genius u are Anju..Very well weaved the importance and the beauty of a woman.. I highly respect and love.
No man is ever great with out this her soft glove to fit his land..iip
Anju, you express the eternal piece of woman's of life. It's The Bible of their lives in this vale of tears.Just like William Wordsworth, You also hear the woman's cry-a cry to liberate themselves from the present order- now you remember me Shelley.
It takes a great woman to truly write about the greatness of a woman. Well done Anjali!
Man is KING Woman is who knows whats going on..sensible with money food and should rule the world...Anjali of Arc I lay my cloak down over the puddles of man......fantastic poem regards
A wonderful dedication to womankind. Indeed, where would we all be if not for them. The world would perhaps be a better place had there not been any men around! ! ! Voted 10.
A Perfect Ten sculpt of Woman. But in lexicon we find alphabetical gender apartheid bias e.g. man comes before woman [and in Bengali Purusha and Mahila]. LOL And in the very word woman has a lingering vestige of ‘man’. Ten. Ms Nivedita UK Didi Please read and rate my poems. niv
She is your loving wife, who is always interested in your welfare, backs you fiercely if need be, She is your darling daughter, who keeps saying, my Dad is great, She is your mother, who finds happiness in your success, She is so much and much more. Anjali you rock.
