Friend or foe?
We meet many people in our lives,
But we don't always know,
Some come across as all sugar and spice,
But once they show their true colours,
Suddenly,
They're not so nice.
Then there's the one,
Who comes across as a miserable soul,
To realise,
They have a wonderful heart of gold.
You can never judge a book by its cover,
Once we get to know someone,
We soon discover,
True ways,
Always appear in the end,
One good thing,
We can all choose our friends.
Jayne Louise Davies
Jayne, I've been blessed with lambs throughout my life. Including, here on PH. Some of those wolves (bullies) had eventually become friends. And, most importantly, stopped their beastly behaviour. Nicely penned!
