Without Our Notice Poem by james watkin

Without Our Notice

Without our notice
Nor in craving it
A beautiful race
In the animal
Unknowably, for love
Does the adorable.

Yet have we been in
Little paw-held bears
And in up-on-toe
Prairie dog kissing
Either taken for
Or imitating!
