This poem makes me glad to be introduced to Tulsidas. Since he wrote in a dialect of Hindi, as I just found out by looking him up, I wish the translator of this poem had been credited. It is true in my experience and affirmed by other mystic friends of God that God meets us primarily in our hearts where our spirits dwell, where God speaks to us Spirit to spirit, as opposed to looking for God “out there.” -GK
