Completed sweet memories reminiscence... bittersweet with a heart's desire... unfulfilled
Difficult to place a single finger on the wealth of emotion that flows from this pen... like a well blended cocktail… bittersweet resolve seems to be the overall effect of several flavors combined.
If I may... Calm winds and following seas May carry your wistful whispers White horses raise their heads To listen Your word's in poem and song Touch more that hearts, but being Those whispers in the breeze Carry hope and love... not sorrow Can I add something here from Kahlil Gibran... On Love he writes... Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself. But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires: To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night. To know the pain of too much tenderness. To be wounded by your own understanding of love; And to bleed willingly and joyfully. To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving; To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy; To return home at eventide with gratitude; And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips. So today... To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy... then report back to us. (wink wink)
