With You Poem by Broken Shell

With You

Love is in the air as I breathe in the rhythm of your heartbeat
Above this world where I leave me and melt into you complete.

Like raindrops on rose petals, but sweeter, is the nectar when our lips meet
And the universe itself with its endless glories could never compete...

With you.

Any given moment where I see, touch, taste, smell, hear or know you
could qualify to be a cherished memory just on the merits of your company.

Lifetimes of achievements, oceans of accomplishments, generations of constellations or kingdoms of vast expanse could neither outshine nor drown nor overtake your eternal beauty and I'd give it all to be...

With you.

What precision the Cupidian arrow strikes its mark after centuries of practice leaving my heart broken at the mere thought of not being able to be...

With you.

Heaven's angelic choruses to touch the heart of God must have brought our Lord pleasure in the place before time where and when He knew it was not good for me to be alone, it was not meant to be if it meant I could not
be...

With you.

Destinies and dynasties, damnations and salvations simultaneously colliding
in the cellular division of miracles multiplying taking away sorrows and all adding up to the thrill not described by words nor experienced by mortals unless they could
be...

With you.

If I could promise you the world's fortunes, heaven's joy, a lifetime of happiness beyond dreams believed, to love you with a devotion like a fire that burns forever to give you every desire your heart could conceive or die trying to fulfill that promise,

Would You Be Mine?

Because I would do all of that and more if it meant I'd know for sure I could
be...

With you.
