With Thread And Needle Poem by michael Smajda

With Thread And Needle

If I could only sew
All the hurt
I ever caused you
Into a scarf or blanket,
I would, painstakingly, do so,
When finished, destroy it,
And vow to you, my love,
Never to make another.
