Hi, Jade, if you're still here. Sigh, I haven't frequented Poemhunter since around 2008, but I come here occasionally to find raw material, that is, writings that I can edit into poems that I can stand by now, years later. (Blue Jeans and Men's Eyes is not one of those, it's pretty good as is. I just saw your comment under it...5 years later! I loved your poem above. Bless you! ♥
ps: (assuming the comment I just made will appear, basically that I appreciated this poem) : I see you're only nineteen and I'm an old man comparatively. But I'm sort of hungry to see what girls/women have to say about their blue jeans and their relationship with them, as females in blue jeans (and when I was little, boys) have been such a spectaularly huge image and facscnation in my own life. I wrote in my other note that I have a couple poems about women in blue jeans on my own page here. Am repeating myself in case that previous comment, which I posted a little while ago, never appears. Best to you, Max
I appreciate this! It is most interesting to me! I have long been interested in the relationship of girls/women and their blue jeans. I have a couple poems about that on my own page here. I see there was no comment to this piece; now you have one!
Oops...I see that I DID comment on your poem previously! And forgot already! Oy! So, here's another one, from a fresh reading! It says a lot to me...about your full immersion in life! In so many ways! Blessings.
