With The Wind In Her Hair Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

With The Wind In Her Hair

She opened up her delicate wings,
And into the air she flew,
That cute little fairy with the wind in her hair,
That glistened with the morning dew.

Far into the heavens,
Way past the moon,
She sprinkled her fairy glitter,
Her beautiful wings of colourful hue,
Would make many a cold heart flutter.

For she was a beauty,
Right there in the sky,
Her sparkling dress looked so grand,
Where she would cast spells,
Over sad tearful souls,
Bringing happiness to all on the land.
