With Soul, What Survives Us Poem by james watkin

With Soul, What Survives Us

As a trail of our best thought
Scent, of lovingness, wrought
And higher, any flower's
What's drawn, visualize.

Left, the remainder, to lie
Whilst blows a rueful sigh
Amongst that pile, autumn-smoked
Nose-pinched, demonize.
