With Our Deeds Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

With Our Deeds

The day breaks and the sun shines
Where legs are on the run
And heart left untouched
There I've laid my mat
With different strides
Is it a quest of might?
It is the guts many don't own
After seeing several signs
Heart grown and ready to engage
The mind of others I've come to stir
Life I tickle from afar
Without the option of using spell
Where many eyes was afraid to stare
My heart dwells
This is the life I've longed for
From the echoes of time
I've crossed the sea
The unfinished road
During the dead cold
Who'd say she never benefit a lot?
When am involve
From the heart this I've done
The life we brought has taken us far
Again with our deeds we've reign.
