With One's Unexpected Return Poem by james watkin

With One's Unexpected Return

All things are in stasis.
All creaturely heats
Pouncing to kill, mid air frozed.
Whose purpose defeats!

Bestilled, leaf. Cloud as fair
Themselves once seen, too
Wind-assailed and wind-chased.
Out there; a day through.

This fright paralyses!
A reunion day's.
Not its word, afar, as by
What, facing, relays.
