I hadn't thought of it that way. It's an interesting juxtaposition of Wiccan to Christianity, whereby witches are worshiping the natural living world and Christians are worshiping Christ? I come at this as an American and immediately think of the Salem Witch trials...

Arthur Miller's great play brought the hysteria into sharp focus. We had the Pendle Witch trials within twenty miles of here. One woman was found not guilty and still they hanged her.
