Wishful Dreams Poem by Mohammad Younus

Wishful Dreams

On this loom of the world,
We weave wishful dreams,
And sing of idle dreams -
Weave, weave on,
As much as you wish,
Like those two cheats,
Who wove cloth -
For the emperor,
On a loom -
Without weft and warp,
Invisible to the fools,
It needs a seer to say:
Emperor is naked!
