Wishes Poem by Khaos Dven

Wishes

A dropp in the ocean. A change in the weather. I was praying you and me might end up together. Its like wishing for rain while standing in the desert, but im holding you closer than most. You are my heaven, my lucky number seven. My tree in the shade, my sharp blade. You are my light in the dark, holder of my heart. Its like wishing for peace when the only way out is to be deseaced. But maybe it wouldent be so bad if it was you i had. Countless days and countless nights, without deep sleep, praying for the lord to give me someone to keep. Theres been nights when all i do is weep in the moon lights beams but nothings ever what it seems, so here i am again, tears that roll down, they shine and they gleam. And i guess all i can do is dream. To wonder to roam like a mercanary, to work alone. To scaveng, to build my own home. To do things some people would not even contemplate, how to live, how to hate, a destined fate. Dealing with feelings i dont understand as of late. Done with wishing and done with trying done with crying. And now im face down in the dirt, yelling for it to not hurt. How could i have been so blind? But to late cause now im scratching your name in the side of this bullet so you will be the last thing that will go through my mind.....
