Wish Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Wish

WISH

Wish that sunshines
Stays with the flowers.

When this pristine world,
Waters safe's for drinking.

When sky was clear
memory of a summer day.

We hold hands together
days stays longer as minds,

Nurtures stay
bringing home to
Mother's their little ones,

The laughters on tables,
lullabyes on bedside,
and evening humming
Presence,

We come as guests in
This majestic lives,
of trees and peoples,
Sentries like gods,
on mountains,

Love rife in
this paradise of man

Life's rifts,
Little ants in colonized labors
The huge whales in her sea kingdom.
The lion kings
of his own terraforma,

Most of all man
most intelligent
Protector of sense
And escribener
To hear all voices again.
Praise for
wish come true.
