Age is great
As long as it gathers wisdom with time
Age is good; yes, very good indeed
So long as, with it, you land at the top of the pile
Where the view of the valleys bring clarity of the times
Aging in itself is good too; so very good
For with time, you get to understand life with its intricacies
Yes, aging is very, very good indeed
So long, it does not come with soul racking regrets
Regrets about missed opportunities due to gullibility
No, aging is not good at all
For the long time strains of rising to the top
Will begin to take its toll on the sinews, muscles, and veins
When the body begins to lose its bearings and focus
The ground will wobble and gravity thicken;
Aging becomes a burden
When vitamin B12 or lack of is a worry
Prostate or cataract become common in the vocabulary
More time spent remembering the names of the departed than the living
The wisdom of time calls for preparation during the youthful days
