When Love is gone, What goods is the sun? , Where should we look, ..Oh, Dear Lady, you're a True Poetess of Heart! ! ! Even the most Beautiful of scene, can feel so lonely, when love is gone! You are Loved by more than you know! ! ! Thank You! ! ! For touching sooo Many lives, Hearts! ! !
Loaded with lost love and looming large in the lane of loneliness. Well done my friend!
Those last three lines are either among the saddest I've read, or they're a TURNING toward something I can't quite put into words yet - but something about the compensatory role of poetry in our lives. The Winter's Song could be a very sad poem but it succeeded in getting the emotions out of the lonely heart into the arena of published poems. I think many people find that a published poem makes even very negative feelings approachable, so you can learn the lesson each life experience is supposed to teach us. This is a poem rich in those life lessons: the first stanza captures our interior life in a proverbial nutshell; it's simply brilliant. And the second stanza shows how poetry is so versatile and able to give us a positive nudge even when the words convey disappointment. All tallied, the responses to this poem show we are NOT ALONE: good people cluster near us.
Beautiful winter song really shared on. Very nicely composed with beautiful imagery.
