Winter Fringe Poem by Daniel Miltz

Winter Fringe

Even as winter end glares
It paints taunting layers
Amongst the bare trees
And winter moon fullness
During which time do
It whispers breathlessly true
And smears midnight blue

While stars twinkle
Amongst the darkness gentle
Winter cries to heaven's signal
With spring coming fast
In a full blast
I steadily watch aghast
Through frosted glass
