Winter Festival Poem by Daniel Miltz

Winter Festival

O' Fall Harvest ends, in dramatic bound
Town quiet under blanket of fresh snow
Snowflakes are sticking, to the cold hard ground
Love going out, braving cold weather show

O' Holiday season approaching fast
Ushering in, with a glory and yore
Thus, thy spirit's grow and shine unsurpassed
See candles on every pane, wreaths on door

Period of festivity galore
With cheery glitter of lights, everywhere
O'er streets and town squares, buildings all decor
Ay, candy canes and holly, here and there
