Winning Final Beatitude Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Winning Final Beatitude

Rating: 5.0

Among millions of souls
free from worldly attachment
scarcely one succeeds
in acquiring perfect wisdom.

Among millions of
enlightened souls,
it is hard to find one
whowins final
beatitude, while living.

Tony, is there perfect wisdom apart from God? —We are finite in understanding; God is infinite. As to beatitudes or blessings, is there a greater one than knowing God? In John 17 Jesus says in his prayer that to know God is eternal life—something not confined to our passing, though I expect the knowing then will be different and better. -Glen
