Window Seat
watching the spring street
sitting on my window seat
in the fresh green hour
watching the people
in the sunshine of their lives
burgundy flowers
lemon butterflies
share a moment with the birds
on the plush jade lawn
hues merge at sunset
into colors of twilight
when the sky comes down

Window Seat! The title of this poem invites me to dive deep into the pool of this beautiful poem! I normally prefer window seats (while travelling) to enjoy the beauty of nature and to avoid unncessary gossips. A magnificent poem dear poetess..loved it.
