Wind Caressing My Feet Poem by Eva Mae Witt

Wind Caressing My Feet

Rating: 5.0

Wind Caressing My Feet

Right now I am walking as though the wind were caressing my feet
the sands are quite soft and beautiful while I surrender to thee
These visual thoughts are so enticing like a fine glass of champagne
If only you were right here beside me, I would be your love so and remain

the sands of crimson and exotic places sing sweet songs of old
The endless love sonnets can be well written in stories so bold
These silken tresses which reap of lavender scented sweet kisses
rings songs of love tunes which can be so true of sheer ecstasy

how anyone's thoughts can be so blessed like true love's rhapsody
now I will stay right here and visualize of how I do miss
your soft melancholy voice as it would sing your greatest hit song
we'd sail into oceans and seas of the unknown for we do belong

Right now I am walking as though the wind were caressing my feet
the sands are quite soft and beautiful while I surrender to thee
These visual thoughts are so entertaining like a fine glass of champagne
If only you were right here beside me, I would be your love so and remain.
