Willpower Poem by Dorsey Baker

He quit smoking
just a few days ago
now his anxiety level
has increased
the pot is boiling
and it could boil over
it needs watching
when he as angry
lonely or sad
he could grab a smoke
any kind of pain
he could count on
a smoke to see him through
its better for his physical health
now that he has stopped
smoking
but his mental health is taking a beating
he is trying to stay strong
trying not to grab another smoke
but its hard
and it takes a lot of willpower!
