Will You Be My Valentine? Poem by Broken Shell

Will You Be My Valentine?

If you knew how beautiful you were to me you'd never hold your head down.

You'd never fear again.

You'd walk through this life as if the earth spun on the axis of
your latest whim.

If you knew how wonderful that you are to me, then you'd never doubt again that you're the most beautiful woman that God ever made and that

Your eyes shine with the light usually reserved only for the divine
but given to this world as a downpayment on the world to come.

If you only knew what looking at you did to a man like me, then you'd realize your power:

If you only knew what just the thought of you did to the way I feel, the way I think, the new realities that I'm forced to believe because of the effects of your presence... then you'd never again wonder why I ask you now,

Will you be my valentine?
