Will We Let Baggage Define Who We Are? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Will We Let Baggage Define Who We Are?

baggage we choose to carry
may be a burden self imposed
baggage we choose to long haul
may time break even strong backs

baggage carried may life chain us
baggage we choose to release
may be a liberation freedom moment
transform stand tall grow wings fly

baggage carried may personality define us
time tests changes both baggage and bodies
time alters both with change wear and tear
