Fay, Very pleasant a poem, with kind thoughts but why only the badger and a fox have a right to be there, whence is at them such privilege to you. / with a smile / 10.......... Best wishes. Tsira
You know when I'm out enjoing nature early morning watching rabbits and squirels at play no better way to start a day..10 Andy
Excellent write Fay...I too believe that wild things, although leaving food for them is good, trying to make contact with them shouln't be encouraged. They need to remain wild for a reason and that is survival...once they trust a human it leaves the way open for trust in other humans who might not be as caring...great writing...Fi 10+++++
Beautiful write; I too love to entice the wild things, but I confess to having very little luck at it. Have made a pet of a small snake once (he did not want to leave us for love or money) and also a baby Starling, we managed to keep living till we released it. Thanks for putting some kind and needed words to something we tend to shove out of our minds on a day to day basis.
