The lavender room is a stunning image for starters and this is heartfelt and longing. Beautifully written....
Her blue eyes And pale face Were seared into my soul Like a psychic tattoo. I imagine 'she' is someone not well known to the poet. Being too sensitive feels like a curse but the great strength of this lyric is that it flows from the heart with a direct and pure honesty most can relate to. I love the final line which evokes a strong romantic image but to be honest I differ from Tai Chi and am not too keen on the title.
lol Great title Uriah! So good to read you, because your work speaks to me. What a wild line, 'in my wifeless world' is. Smiling at you Tai
This one has the lavender essence of a painting by Monet. So compelling so complete within itself. Beautiful as only sadness can be. Always your friend, Sandra
