Wife Beater (Limerick) Poem by Ayman Parray

Wife Beater (Limerick)

Rating: 4.5

There was once a fat, ugly, wife beater
He was also a drunk and a cheater
His chair a hot iron rod
Made by the will of God
His ass got burned badly on that heater

Deep envision. Wife beater must be punished by sitting on a hot iron rod. Many thanks dear Ayman keep the ball rolling.

God was perhaps too kind. Violence perpetrated against anyone ever is deplorable. To use it against a spouse is far beyond that. Luckily your poem avoids getting too depressing because 1. Justice is served 2. Limericks are just fun Nicely done Ayman

not bad for a 'first limerick'! rhyming and meter seem good. some would say the content is not 'limerick material' perhaps, but i like it enough! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - what was god thinking! ? ? Though he was fat, he could have been thin. All sorts of 'men' are capable of sin. God did what gods sometimes do. [God did make quite a few.] THAT 'man' should have gone in the 'reject' bin! ! bri :)

A brilliantly crafted limmerick Ayman. Fusing humour with seriousness is always a tough job that you did almost effortlessly.. Thanks for sharing..
