Hmmmm, i know what you mean by this.....but simply for me i use poetry as a way of putting my feelings on paper, no matter what way i use words to change it or twist it.....I've always found that this is the best method for me....but your poem, or data or whatever you may call it is good. Hazel :)

Agree with T here Alison, a good point but mostly poetry should be a vessel by which to express our emotions, if others don't like, they don't have to read. This, however, is a well placed point. HG: -) xx

Dear Alison, yes thats exactly how I feel sometimes, how to draw the line between inflicting my thoughts on others and a kind of self censorship that stops a Poem from taking up its life and being released from the soul. Love David

Shouldn't this be in a blog? I disagree with this - writing is cathartic for the writer, sometimes, and reading others having similar feelings has the same effect. That doesn't alter the fact that I think this is a well composed, thoughtful poem, and many will share the sentiment. t x
