Maybe break the first stanza into two, similar to the others but a good poem nonetheless.
Dennis, I just saw the note you sent me back in May directing me to this poem. Two responses come to me—to fulfill the commandment to multiply and as an important expression of love. Take care! -Glen

I like it - especially the first, questions stanza. But did you answer your question?
I guess when God created 'mankind', It (God) felt adventuresome. BUT how come we just couldn't use ribs like God used? ? ? It'd be easier (sort of) . ;)
I BELIEVE THAT HUMANS HAVE ONLY 2 'SEXES', FEMALE AND/OR MALE. BUT SOME HUMANS HAVE SOME PHYSICAL AND/OR BEHAVIORAL CHARACTERISTICS OF BOTH. : )
Incoming: Your poem is on place number 63 in the Top 100 of Best Member Ppems, Denis. Congratulations!
A great philosophical write, thanks for sharing.Top marks for this poem and it goes to my fav list.
Many deep questions raised.Life faces innumerable questions and answer is not coming.Even when we do not get an answer we are drawn into it.
Afterword: Most drawings (conté crayon) and paintings (acrylic) by Anton Heyboer are all in black, only a few are in colour, but I have never seen the coloured ones, this is brand-new for me, but it shows passion, power and life! I am also a paintress.
THREE: a serious poem written with a lot of love and emotive care a very admirable poem,5 Stars and to My Favourites
TWO: life must be lived, laughter and tears are part of life. I really enjoyed this very serious poem, a thought-provoking poem, but the great care is felt here, love is never mentioned here, but rest assured that there is great love in this powerful poem,
ONE: your sincere efforts are most certainly noticed by the Creator, and most certainly, and also rewarded a person cannot clap with one hand, he/she needs both hands.
Preword: I know Anton Heyboer, but I don't know the book you have read. the Book Of Changes, but I have enjoyed thoroughly your 40 liners poem, a finest read and a total treat. TFS, Denis.
The poem is worth reading, BUT the questions are not worth the time it would take for me to guess answers. And I don't see the title-question in the body of the poem. OK.
Some ' lines written by Lord Alfred Tennyson in his 1854 poem, The Charge of the Light Brigade, about a failed British military action: 'Theirs not to make reply / Theirs not to reason why / Theirs but to do and die.'. '
'Making life trajectories into melodies? ' [Is THAT English? ? ? ? ] ;)))))))))))) It's too poetic for me, Bri. So many questions! ! ! ! And WHO can agree on the answers? Why bother trying to answer?
This poem reminds me of a philosophy class I attended in high school. Thinking and questionning make us human. Deep and clean writing.
