There is so much story hidden behind these words - it needs to be a novel - but the gaps and holes are enough to let a glimpse through, and perhaps that is all that is needed.

This is excellent Kate. There is a sense of smallness about this; with it, a feeling of a lack of power or control because of that smallness. Something tells me that this is about childhood, but youpull out a sense of helplessness that most everyone could understand. In doing so you express your own power. A truely wonderful work Kate!
