A real time poem describing the social insecurity surrounding our kids at schools.
I have my condolences with the tragedy victim parents. Let God bless the family and give enough strength to face the challenge.
When I was thirsty for my sister's touch, when I was hungry for my mother's couch, when I was eager to meet my father, You stole my breath and cut my fresh feather. Quite painful to read it completely sir. You wrote so nice. Thanks. 10++++++
Why did you force me to leave this lovely world Cup board full of toys friends, loving mom and dad? A very sad event. Thanks poet. 10++++
Though it is quite poignant and full of sadness, you have done a splendid job to re-create the atmosphere in which that little boy- Pradyumn- found himself during the final moments of his life. A cold blooded murder. When I was thirsty / for my sister's touch, when I was hungry / for my mother's couch, when I was eager / to meet my father You stole my breath / and cut my fresh feather.
What else would be mine Last few minutes' wish? To call and complain mom and papa to come and punish! The helpless kid Pradyumn might have undergone such tragic situation. What a cruel event? 10+++++
Why did you force me to leave this lovely world Cup board full of toys friends, loving mom and dad? Very painful to tolerate. 10++++
So very sad but abuse happens so often in today's world. This topic is addressed in the poems Jack, Drip, The Death of Raggedy Ann, and especially The Other Children. I too feel the pain and sorrow of the evil and cruelty around us today. Your poem has touched a tender nerve. Thank you. 10+++
Wow.. a real time poem with a subtle expressive anguish against brutality in the society. Love the poem. 10+++++++
The death of Pradyumna,7 years old, a kid in Ryan International School in Haryana has disturbed the whole nation. Enough is enough. No more to tolerate. Our system has become a nymph in protecting our kids, the future of our young world. God save us.
I really wish I could have heard a soundtrack to go with the poem rather than a robot burping out each word individually
