Pity we can't combine our summer with yours Dinesh, and get something moderate. Enjoyed reading.

In Indian cities the woes of summer is often compounded by prolonged power cuts. These two villains often join hand to pulverize us into pulp. An enchanting poem.

By modifying SUMMER with the scene of people working in the field or roads, sir, we can open the windows for breeze.

A scorching summer is waiting outside! Even before its ceremonious entry, we have begun to experience its parching presence! The misgivings and uncertainty of a state getting bifurcated adds to the woes.... I think the hot strong tea, not sweetened goes well with the season...! ! (so thoughtfully served by a wife who is so anxiously concered about her husband's health!) Enjoyed this partially humorous and partially serious poem! ! A 10 for this

The contrast between everyday things and the anticipation of what is ahead creates a tension which I think works really well. Thank you drawing my attention to it. Anne
