Why It's Better To Love A Stranger Poem by Raj Dronamraju

Why It's Better To Love A Stranger

The story of Noah's Ark is not believable
All of the creatures of the Earth are the descendants of one male, one female
And the inbreeding that followed
Look at the state of the world and wonder if we are all the product of inbreeding
But look at the beauty of nature and know that's not true

It is better to know a partner from a different place
One you only know about secondhand
And when you meet the destined one, he/she has a lot of questions about your world and you too likewise

Energized with ignorance and arrogance
We are accustomed to making poor decisions
And number one is who we procreate with
Our kids will be idiots eating their own waste, knocking their heads into walls

I've loved you from afar
Because you are nothing like me
And our own little dynasty will be pure
The dynasty we create will be of the purest blood
