Why It Hurts So Comments

The ugly scars of humans exposed mercilessly. A sarcastic truth that many would deny.

Excellent poetry Grace, I agree the world is a controversial place for sure, but again we are in charge of our own destiny. We make our own choices and decisions therefore we are definitely in control. Many of us have dreams we will never fulfill but we live for those dreams in the hope that one day those dreams may come true. It all depends how much we want those dreams to come true, we are in control of that also and have the abililty to make it happen. The world is a controversial place, people take yes to mean no or vice versa, telling their children fairy tale stories, but there's a time and place for everything. Children deserve to be children and fairly tale stories in moderation don't hurt, although I don't agree with the frightful aspect of some of the stories. We must teach our children that though the world is controversial the word yes means yes and certainly no means no. We must always find the reality and act accordingly. I hope you don't mind these long comments, maybe I got up just a little too early this morning. I love your poem Grace, food for thought, you are a wonderful poet and you make me think, I like that.---Melvina----

Grace, we all have to live our dreams. Some of just take a little longer to get to them. This is a great poem. Beautifully worded. I loved it. You get top marks from me. David
