why does the mirror has to be so cruel. i ask that seem question every day. this was a very well thought out piece of work, great imagery, coming from the mind is a wonderful thing and you did a great job with this one. I give it a ten.
A mirror can never show the real anyone but a poem make a good effort. Your's certainly does - a good honest look in the glass this shakes us out of the futility of living in the past.
This poem had a sad ring to it, while AAARRRGGH! was written truly in jest. How-ever, there are days when I get up, and am so tired and really feeling my age that this one fits my feelings. Those are the days when I can't laugh about it and I miss my youth and abilities to do anything that I want. Thanks for sharing it with me! Loved it! Scarlett
