I think modern poetry has given the literature a huge canvas for expression. But without following certain rules nothing can be accomplished. Why should poetry be a single field where rules are ignored? Because poetry gives us more freedom in comparison to other parts of literature. Isn't it? Rated 10. Kindly read and rate my poem 'Simplicity is an art itself' on page 1.

There are no rules for poetry even though a select few think there are. You must write it this way or write it that way......well SHIT to you select few. Juan has it right? !
