Why did I do that?
not to mention to top it off;
I can't be near you and
I can't hear you

Why did I do that?
Why did I let you walk into my life?
How could I talk like that?
Let you think something that isn't true.

Why did I do that?
I'm scared for you
I can't hurt you,
but it looks like I have already

Why did I do that?
Why did I lie to myself?
Why did I let myself think those things?
Why did I say yes to your question?
I hurt you, but you don't fully realize it.
I've hurt you, you'll hate me when you find out.
I want to say sorry,
but; I am not to be forgiven....
for I have sinned, and I regret it.
