I sit in silence by the wall,
Candies in hand, yet feeling small.
Longing for voices, laughter, and cheer,
But no one stays—no one is near.
Is it because I am me?
Quiet yet wild,
Drawn to beauty but scared like a child.
A smile masks the fear inside,
For a moment, the shadows subside.
Yet time ticks on, alone I stay,
Lost in thought, swept away.
And then it's clear—I finally see,
I am alone because I am me.
