Yes, yes, you have expressed the confusion many of us feel, and that confusion is a malign emotion that eats away at our positive emotions. It makes us question the goodness of fellow humans, even the intentions of God who could stop the evil but doesn't. But one wonderful effect of your poem on me is that it makes me want to trust both fellow people and God. It makes me want to stretch out to embrace my faith in things rather than surrender to despair. And I hope writing this poem has had a similar positive benefit for you. Youi deserve it.

Beautiful poem with very important life questions asked. Why do we do what we do? Is it vice? Is it ignorance? I quite strongly believe that the next revolution is a wisdom revolution, where all of us will become aware that happiness does not lie in greed, but in selfless service. In the mean time I pray for the Syrians. We were all born with a heart full of love but we look for happiness so much outside of us... Thought provoking poem, very well written

Your expression of feeling low and dejected is well understood. I appreciate the questions you have asked in the poem, though the answer is unknown to me too. 'Why do we ask the questions, yet do the deed When the answer is irrelevant, yet greater the need.' - Well said!
