Emily has a way with her words. Very unique style, her own. This piece enigmatic indeed, as the Sutras in Vedic Sanskrit. Her brevity allowing ample space to expand makes her my all time favorite poet

Mysterious indeed, and slightly apart from what we read of her poems. Her concise diction is striking.

An elusive quatrain no doubt...nevertheless.from my perspective it seems to embrace the conventional metaphorical equivalence of flower and poem. The lines appear to call on their readers to become poems/ flowers, ' To imitate these Neighbours fleet/ In awe and innocence, were meet.'

Such a concise fantasy. Blooming with imagination.
