Who's The Master Poem by Randy McClave

Who's The Master

In the yard you're the gardener the green thumb master
You can tell me what to trim or to cut slower of faster,
You can tell me how much water to the plants I should give
So, I won't drown them and so that they will live.
Inside my house you can tell me how to sanitize and clean
Especially in the bathrooms where you staunchly push hygiene,
In the laundry room you can show me how to separate and then wash clothes
So, that they all smell fresh and clean like a morning rose.
In the bedroom you can show me how to make the bed when I wake up
Even before I pour my first coffee cup,
You can also show me the correct way to fold clothes especially towels
So, there is no reprimand by you or any folding fouls.
As a gardener and a housekeeper indeed you are the pro
I wish I could or did learn one fourth of the things that you know,
Remember, outside the kitchen you are the master I will confidently say
But, inside the kitchen, I am the sensei.
