**** four stars ;) Now I may/might read A Fallen Tree by Howard The Motivational Poet Simon. See his comment below. : )
AF, 'Who will greet me to my day'..........I'd use 'welcome me', not 'greet me', sister. I say it is more grammatically correct PLUS you get an alliteration, 'will welcome'.
What a lovely poem of love and loss. A great write that most of us could relate to. Very touching.
Thank you dear poetess for reading and commenting. I'm happy my poems are relatable. :)
Missing a loved one, feeling it and expressing the feelings, not so easy, but Aqua Flower manages it like a flower.
Hi Flower, My poem- A Fallen Tree asks some of the same question. I wrote it after my mother died in her honor so this poem takes me a long way back and it resonates with a very challenging period of my life... Things do get better not because of time but because we choose to do better. Blessings!
So sweet of a response and thank you for reading it! I will look at your poem this week and read it! Thank you for reading and for the blessings. And I agree our mind can be more powerful than time.
Leaping in the lane of Lonliness and loss with quintessential questions that stings and yet soothes the heart. Well done my friend!
Love and kisses will turn up when most unexpected, and that is when they are the sweetest! Wonderful emotion full of heart! !
....with a text and a picture too/Who will fill my empty heart.....the obsession of losing love is very hard to endure! A poignant piece of poetry! (10)
The loss of the small things in a relationship can hurt the most. Really good poem. A 10.
sad I feel its more his loss than yours move on the world has 7.5 billions
Maybe he will feel remorse, regret, and will return.... But if not, he wasn't really worth it, anyway, if he did not appreciate and cherish you. Perhaps he was the interim person, the stepping-stone before the one who truly will love you with devotion.
He is/was the one! I found him too late! Thank you for your comments and I read some of yours as well and commented!
I guess my prince is not coming! : ( Thank you for reading and yes, separating is difficult but love that is unfulfilled is more difficult to endure.
The poem gives us a feeling of void and emptiness, but nature hates vacuum; so it is expected that love will resurface again and fill the void. A nice poem, inasmuch as it is an honest expression of the emptiness of separation.
Void, Emptiness, Separation are good choice of words to describe the nothingness you feel when the person whom you loved is gone. Thank you Khairul for your comment.
We see emptiness in this poem, as we wait for an answer.+++10
Robert, thank you for commenting. This is not one of my love poems or positive upbeat ones but loss of love is part of life and their is nothing positive about it....even with it's imperfections.
Loss of love is so sad. But do not worry. This will be revived. Blood Moon has appeared on this day of Lunar Eclipse with much love and we hope this Moon will give calmness and love to all. Moon is the amazing answer. An excellent poem is well penned...10
Thank you for your interesting comment about the blood moon. Revived is a good word to keep calm and carry on. Nature is one of the best healing medicine there is both for physical and emotional.
A sense of loss well captured
