Who is loving you, now that I'm gone?
Is it someone new, or just a temporary song?
Do they hold your hand, and whisper in your ear?
Do they make you laugh, and wipe away your tears?
Who is loving you, with the love that I gave?
Do they know your heart, and the way you crave?
To be held and cherished, to be loved and adored?
Or are they just a substitute, for the love we once explored?
I hope they're loving you, with a love that's true,
And not just a reflection, of the love I once gave you.
I hope they're making you happy, and filling your heart with light,
And not just a temporary fix, for the darkness of night.
But even if they are, and even if they do,
I'll always remember you, and the love we once shared anew.
You'll always be a part of me, a piece of my heart,
And no matter who loves you now, we'll never be apart.
