Who Envies Me My Song Poem by james watkin

Who Envies Me My Song

Who envies me my song
Has endured not sound
Self-inflicted! Unflattering remarks
One's function around.

Who envies me my song
And who my name salutes
Precocious are as pallbearers while
Whose death one refutes!
