Who Do You Belong To? Poem by Long Tooth

Who Do You Belong To?

Are your Love and you one,
You a part of each friend,
Will you want to claim soul
When life reaches its end?

Does soul truly exist?
Does one's essence persist?

Is there star that you dream on,
Have you sense of your druthers,
Is your faith worth pursuing,
Does your heart know its brothers?

Love and life just a mist?
Judgement comes, are you kissed?

Or is life just a dream
In the mind of another,
Just a poem that's found
In a book under cover?
