a very sad reality poem as night follows day we all cannot stay? .............well written LP
You're never alone. We become young again in our poems. There's always someone older who needs a friend. This old rooster still got a good crow left. I can relate to this poem. I just wrote Acquitting Alice for those who can use a good laugh. Be blessed and write on.
Your comments did make me laugh Chris..’This old rooster still got a good crow left’! ! I am loving the imagery there..I am off to read Acquitting Alice..I love a good laugh my friend..it is as good as having a portrait of Dorian Gray in the attic! ..and poetry certainly is ‘The best of times’ for us!
As day follows night soon the caring is gone. The loves of your life have grown up or passed on. You're just treading water a tired, old mute swan...shattered hopes, reconciling oneself with the present situation and writing about it..... lovely poem dear poetess. tony
Thank you so much for your very kind words Tony, which are very much appreciated.. Lodigiana x
A lovely poem dear Lodigiana. Life is a spiral movement, always oscillating through different positions, but the wavelengths change every time. 10++++++
