Who Can Define Beauty Inherent Within Poetry? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Who Can Define Beauty Inherent Within Poetry?

The beauty in poetry
apart from the possible beauty
in the maze pattern words

imagery, themes, inspiration,
rhyme and luminary places;
poems and words may take us to,

is in the giving.
Poets who write
with a passion

always give.

Who can define the ephemeral
intangible mystic riddle genius
beauty inherent within poetry

beyond variant vibrant beauty
in choice words, imagery, themes,
inspiration, rhyme, luminary places;

poems words themes may take us to
woven into heartfelt warm giving words
poets who write with passion freely give

poets give soft creeping weeping pleasure
infuse us with emotive happiness inspiration
in epic wonderous inspirational poems written;

who will return poetic dream vision gift words,
in kind with spice theme medium crafted words;
facet of poetic mind vision thought swift penned,

in the giving of creative souls.

Lovers of poetics and literary
images may also ecstatic joy sing,
celebrate verse songs in their hearts.

Heart of true poet felt
'if you happen
to be the only person
I end up inspiring then
for me that will be enough.'

I share this view.
Among the simple poems
I have been recently writing.

There is a reason why
creativity writers write
critics can only deconstruct.

Why is balance in soaring
cosmic symphony expression
lost in critic review translation?

Strange is shock random find
uncovered a rare gem similar piece
echoing soul themes we once thought

thoughts we thought lost years ago,
found a song poem that hauntingly
tied in with our original thought.

What are the chances?

Poets marking the ends
of our thoughts themes dreams
fleeting vision time thoughts

time with kaleidoscopic mirror images.

Joy is solid 24 carrot gold find
when found master poetic piece
expresses a similar viewpoint
vibrating in depths our own soul.

True soul poet cares not
with stick judge critic curse
which is better, superior, inferior,

does not waste time
with such concerns
when lost child like

chasing
ripple image
poetic themes

ephemeral
running away
ever elusive

within circle
love poetry
appreciation

poets

we meet
as friends
in poetic love

friendship.

We enjoy
rough poems
which speak

to us
in secret
hidden

depths in soul.

We enjoy
best poems
which arrow

impact
vibrate
in spirit

soul our brains.

With happiness
exultant joy
we time stolen

write

grieved when
worked too much
had no time to write.

This curse bites poets.

Wonderful
is our friendship
shared love of poetry.

Many true poet
poems are referenced
with trace hook lines

inspired
by other friend
poets.

True poet
enjoys
referencing

the origin
of poems
which interact

with other poets.

Trace lines
express exactly
thoughts

themes
images
exaltations

poet
wished
to say

with joy.

We write
to share
to know

ourselves
as poets
to live in art.

Some believe
in chance
coincidence

karma

however the synchronicity
of shared sentiments
has a wonderfully enriched

resonance in poetic hearts.

Until we meet
again in poetry
Godspeed

power to your pen.

Signing
off
with

Warmest
Regards
your friend

a fellow poet.

Dedicated to all poets
dedicated to the great poets
who came before us who wrote
epics to succinct brevity
poems which enriched our lives.
